Birds also nest in the Bonita Bay wetlands. This is the Horseshoe wetland, which is home to some of the wetland nesting birds such as Killdeer, Black-necked stilts and Wilson’s snipe. A new Macias Wildlife Society Bird ID sign was added to this pathway in June 2026.
