Charles (Chuck) Avery, “Calusa Waterkeepers and Water Quality.” Chuck is the past President of the Calusa Waterkeepers and a Pelican Landing resident. He has been tracking the water quality of Spring Creek and the Imperial River for several years. Learn how we might be able to work together to improve the water quality flowing into the Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve.

Brian Beckner, “Bird Nesting Boxes in Bonita Bay. Brian is the owner of “Native Bird Boxes” and has installed the bird nesting boxes on the Bonita Bay golf courses and in our Bonita Bay parks. Brian is an excellent birder and extremely knowledgeable about the nesting patterns and species of cavity nesting birds using the nesting boxes.

Sandy Hollenhorst “The Bird Sometimes called the Water Turkey.” There are many “wading and water birds” in Bonita Bay but there is only one call the “water turkey”. Join Sandy for a program on some of the birds that you might see in our lakes and rookeries.
